Specialty Areas

While every therapist receives training to work with a wide variety of issues, most of us have areas that we specialize in or have sought out training opportunities to advance our knowledge of certain concerns.

Adult Children of Addicts/Alcholics

Adult Children of Addicts/Alcoholics grow experiencing various events that can create attachment trauma with the identified addict/alcoholic parent, and these wounds can translate to many different relationships in our lives.

Childfree by Choice

For those who choose to be childfree for various reasons, the road to sharing this choice with medical professionals, family, friends, and strangers can be an exhausting one. Having a space to process these experiences with a therapist who understands the lifestyle can be a safe haven for those seeking support on this journey..

3

Perfectionism

Those who have experienced trauma or have struggled with mental health concerns over the years have the chance to develop struggles with perfectionism as a means of compensating in daily life. In the therapy room, it is our goal to learn to be our authentic self rather than carry the burden of attempting to be perfect in a world that is far from it.

ADHD/Executive Dysfunction Coaching

Whether through diagnosis of ADHD or just acknowledging the impact executive dysfunction has on daily life, the counseling room is a space to explore ways to adapt and accept new routines better suited for these concerns.
